Scholarships Benefits

Scholarship recipients at the University of Calabria are exempt from paying tuition and receive a stipend of about €2,500 in addition to free housing and access to the university’s on-campus canteen.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate for Bachelor’s degree: All non-European students who have completed at least 12 years of schooling and a high school diploma can participate. Participation is open to students who plan to graduate in the 2021/2022 academic year. As a result, they will be denied the opportunity to register.

Candidate for Master’s Degree: Participation is open to all non-European students who hold a degree from a foreign university acceptable for admission to master’s programs in Italy. Students who expect to receive their diplomas during the 2021/2022 academic year are eligible to participate in the competition on a provisional basis. Without meeting the qualifications required, they will be denied registration in the future.

How to Apply for the University of Calabria Scholarships in Italy?

To apply for University of Calabria scholarships, you must:

1. Register on the Esse3 portal.
2. Login to the Esse3 portal.
3. Go to the top-right menu → Registrar’s Office → Admission Test
4. Select a course.
5. Select the competition: “CALL FOR EXTRA-EU STUDENTS…”

Before starting the application, prepare the following documents, each separately, in a single PDF:

1. The first page of the passport.
2. Curriculum vitae.
3. Copy of Baccalaureate diploma (if you are applying to a Bachelor’s program).
4. Copy of the Bachelor’s degree (if you are applying to a Master’s course – 2 years).
5. Transcript of all years of university study.
6. Syllabus of all your university courses.
7. Italian language certificate (if you have it).
8. English language certificate (if you have it).
9. Any other documents you deem useful.

The deadline is April 14, 2022. You can only apply for one course of study at a time. To change your course of study, you must first cancel your previous application.
